Air France after more than a year resumes its non-stop flights between Paris (CDG) and Hong Kong (HKG) from January 9, 2023. The airline’s last operation on this service was on December 1, 2021, the route was suspended due to the pandemic.
The French airline will offer on this service an offer of 2,286 weekly seats, this will be Air France’s 14th destination in the Asia-Pacific region. The company will compete with Cathay Pacific’s five-times-weekly service on Boeing 777-300ERs.
Flight Itinerary
- Paris – Hong Kong Flight AF 188 CDG 23:25 – HKG 19:05+1 Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Hong Kong – Paris Flight AF 185 HKG 22:15 – CDG 05:45+1 Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
The route will be operated on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with a capacity of 381 passengers in three classes (42 Business Class/24 Premium Economy/315 Economy) and promotional fares are available from EUR 2,096 in Business and EUR 494 in Economy one way.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Eurostat, 485,458 passengers were mobilized in 2019 between Paris (CDG) and Hong Kong (HKG). The French capital was HKG’s second largest European market in terms of passengers and seats per seat kilometers offered (ASK), behind only London.

In consultation of Cirium data, Air France will have in January an offer of 52,048 weekly seats between Paris and the Asia-Pacific region, a 76.5% recovery compared to 2019 levels.
