Azul Linhas Aéreas will start flights between Porto Alegre and Montevideo on Airbus A320neo aircraft configured for 174 passengers as of November 20th. The Brazilian airline currently operates once a day with 118-seat Embraer 195 jets.

During the next month, Azul will have one weekly flight with these aircraft, increasing to two from December 21st and to four in February.
For the summer season, Recife, Foz do Iguaçu and Florianópolis will join Porto Alegre to the company’s routes in the Uruguayan capital. At the time of publication, these connections will remain regular all year round.
