This Monday (16), Aeromexico began non-stop service between Monterrey (MTY) and San Luis Potosi (SLP), the company’s sixth domestic route from the capital of Nuevo Leon.
Flight AM 2326 was operated by Aeromexico Connect in an Embraer E190 registered with license plate XA-AEE, which took off from General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY) at 13:18 local time and landed at San Luis Potosi International Airport at 14:01, after 43 minutes.
The inauguration ceremony was headed by Aurora Mancilla Castro, head of the Ministry of Tourism, and Juan Carlos Valladares Eichelmann, head of SEDECO. This new service will allow passengers from San Luis Potosi to connect to Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX) and Madrid (MAD) through Monterrey (MTY).
Aeromexico will offer 57,101 weekly seats on domestic routes from Monterrey (MTY) in 398 operations. The Mexican airline connects the capital of Nuevo Leon with Leon/Guanajuato (BJX), Guadalajara (GDL), Mexico City (MEX), Queretaro (QRO), San Luis Potosi (SLP) and Felipe Angeles International Airport (NLU).

- Monterrey – San Luis Potosi Flight AM 2326 MTY 13:10 – SLP 14:40 daily flights.
- San Luis Potosi – Monterrey Flight AM 2327 SLP 12:10 – MTY 13:35 daily flights.
The airline will offer 1,386 seats per week on this service and will be the only airline operator on this route. In addition to its operations from General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY), it also offers 33 weekly flights between San Luis Potosi (SLP) and Benito Juarez International Airport (MEX).
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), Aeromexico mobilized 13,674,078 passengers and 33,024.1 tons of cargo in the domestic market in 128,483 operations during the January-November 2022 period. The airline of the eagle’s knight is the third largest domestic operator in Mexico.
