Albatros Airlines will resume operations on January 5 with charter flights from Maracay (MYC) and Barcelona (BLA) to Porlamar (PMV). Tickets are already available for sale through the company’s regular channels.
Within the framework of the Expo Transporte Internacional 2022 held in Caracas, the company announced that it would reactivate commercial flights from Los Tacariguas Airport (MYC), Albatros will be the only company to connect Aragua State with Margarita Island, thus contributing to the recovery of the national market in the air sector.
Currently, the G/J José Félix Ribas International Airport is under construction in Maracay, which will be a cargo hub for Venezuela with the world, with the purpose of increasing exports of national products.
Flight itinerary between Aragua and Margarita Island
- Maracay (MYC) 09:00 – Porlamar (PMV) 10:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
- Porlamar (PMV) 13:00 – Maracay (MYC) 14:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Flight schedule between Anzoátegui and Margarita Island
- Barcelona (BLA) 10:30 – Porlamar (PMV) 10:50 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
- Porlamar (PMV) 11:20 – Barcelona (BLA) 11:40 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Flights will be in Embraer EMB 120 aircraft, as recently the company reactivated the one with registration YV2776 to resume operations.
With the reactivation of Albatros flights from Maracay (MYC), Santiago Mariño International Airport (PMV) will be connected to thirteen domestic destinations, becoming the second airport with more connections nationwide, only behind Caracas (CCS).
Porlamar (PMV) has non-stop services to Barcelona (BLA), Barquisimeto (BRM), Caracas (CCS), El Vigía (VIG), La Fría (LGR), Maracaibo (MAR), Maturín (MUN), Puerto Ordaz (PZO), Santo Domingo del Táchira (STD), Tucupita (TUV), Valencia (VLA) and Isla de Coche (ICC).
