“California, Texas and Florida are among the most important international destinations due to their great potential for the VFR (Visiting Friends and Relatives) segment, as there are large communities of Mexicans and Central Americans living in the area. Since we began operations to the United States, we have focused on offering the greatest number of routes so that they can be close to their loved ones,” said Omar Carrera, commercial director of Volaris.

Volaris is the airline with the largest share of the Mexican market with a 42% market share. During 2022 it mobilized 30.9 million passengers, increased its fleet from 101 to 107 aircraft and its routes from 185 to 200, consolidating its position as the largest airline in Mexico for the fourth consecutive year.
