Delta TechOps signed over $200 million in MRO deals in Q1 2023

Delta Air Lines’ maintenance division and maintenance provider, Delta TechOps signed nine component MRO contracts worth $225 million during the first three months of 2023. The exclusive agreements have a term of three to five years and cover Airbus and Boeing fleets depending on the customer.

Users range from cargo carriers to global passenger airlines. These programs will primarily support the Boeing 737, Boeing 767, Airbus A320 and Airbus A330 aircraft platforms and will cover an extensive range of parts, from avionics to mechanical, fuel and hydraulic components.

«Over the past several years, we have used our experience as an operator to expand our capabilities and component offerings. We have increased our scope of work on numerous platforms and are proud to provide enhanced services to these customers«, said Mahendra Nair, senior vice president of Delta TechOps.

These programs are going to support the customers’ current fleet of aircraft, as well as anticipated fleet growth in the coming years.

Delta TechOps has supported Boeing 737, Boeing 767, Airbus A320 and Airbus A330 aircraft platforms for the past three decades, including airframe, component and engine maintenance.

Recently, Delta Air Lines announced the purchase of one hundred Boeing 737-10s, TechOps will continue to support these future platforms. In connection with the Boeing 737 MAX acquisition, Delta TechOps will become the engine service provider for the next-generation LEAP-1B aircraft under an agreement with CFM International.
