Albatros Airlines resumes international operations as of April 26th with non-stop services from Valencia (VLN) and Las Piedras (LSP) to Curaçao (CUR). Prior to the pandemic, the airline operated flights to Colombia and Costa Rica.

The airline will be the first carrier to resume scheduled passenger operations between Venezuela and the Netherlands Antilles following the announcement of the reopening of the borders on April 3.
Flight Schedule between Valencia and Curaçao
- Valencia (VLN) 09:00 – Curaçao (CUR) 09:45 Wednesday and Friday.
- Curaçao (CUR) 13:35 – Valencia (VLN) 14:10 Wednesday and Friday.
With this new route, the international flight offer at Arturo Michelena Airport (VLN) will be complemented with non-stop services to Santo Domingo (SDQ), Punta Cana (PUJ), Panama – Tocumen (PTY) and charter services to Cuba and Brazil.
Flight schedule between Las Piedras and Curaçao
- Las Piedras (LSP) 12:10 – Curaçao (CUR) 12:35 Wednesday and Friday.
- Curaçao (CUR) 10:45 – Las Piedras (LSP) 11:10 Wednesday and Friday.
Albatros will be the first airline to reactivate international flights at Josefa Camejo Airport (LSP) since the outbreak of the pandemic, thus reinforcing the connectivity of the center-west of the country.
Las Piedras (LSP) together with Caracas (CCS), Maracaibo (MAR), Valencia (VLN), Barquisimeto (BRM), Barcelona (BLA) and Puerto Ordaz (PZO) are the airports in Venezuela that provide international operations.
Fares and domestic network
The new routes will be operated in Embraer 120 aircraft with a capacity of 30 passengers in a single configuration and promotional fares are available from USD per way. The airline’s domestic network has services to Caracas (CCS), Maracay (MCY), Valencia (VLN), Barcelona (BLA) and Porlamar (PMV).
Curaçao more connected to South America
By the beginning of May, Hato International Airport (CUR) will be connected to three Venezuelan cities, in addition to Albatros operations, Laser will soon start non-stop flights from Caracas (CCS). During the 2023 summer season, Curaçao (CUR) will have services to Bogota (BOG), Medellin (MDE), Barranquilla (BAQ), Paramaribo (PBM) and Belo Horizonte (CNF).
