In April, the Peruvian Directorate General of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) approved LATAM Airlines Peru’s request for a technical inspection to resume operations to Venezuela. Peruvian authorities visited Caracas between April 25 and 28 to assess the necessary conditions for the airline to initiate operations at Maiquetia International Airport.
