The Civil Aeronautics of Colombia has reported a tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday morning when a Cessna T210N aircraft, with registration HK 5138, operating air taxi services, was flying the route from Villavicencio to Guaymaral, crashing near San Luis de Gaceno, in the Department of Boyacá.

The flight took off from Villavicencio Airport at 7:40 a.m., and unfortunately, the last contact with air traffic service was made at 7:58 a.m.

The aircraft was carrying five passengers and the pilot, who were identified as Oscar Rodriguez, Felipe Carreño, Guillermo Perez, Nohora Tovar, Dimas Barrero, and the pilot Heliodoro Alvarez.

According to preliminary information, it is reported that all occupants of the plane lost their lives in the accident.

The Technical Direction of Accident Investigation of the Civil Aeronautics has assigned a team of experts to conduct the investigations and collect the necessary evidence to determine the possible causes of the accident.

The Cessna 210 Centurion is a light, single-engine, six-seat general aviation aircraft with retractable gear and a high wing. It first flew in January 1957 and was manufactured by Cessna until 1986.
