LATAM inaugurated its flights between Bogota and Orlando

On July 1, LATAM Colombia inaugurated its non-stop flights between Bogota and Orlando. This new service is the first route to be inaugurated after the start of the Joint Venture with Delta Air Lines, so customers will have greater travel options to North and South America through the networks of both airlines.

«Delta Air Lines and LATAM Airlines strengthen connectivity between Colombia and the United States, providing customers with the best service and a wide network of domestic connections«, said Santiago Alvarez Matamoros, CEO of LATAM Airlines Colombia.

Flight LA 4406 was operated on an Airbus A320 registered as CC-BAW, which took off from El Dorado International Airport (BOG) at 10:39 local time and landed at Orlando International Airport (MCO) at 15:12, after three hours and 33 minutes.

This new service complements LATAM Group’s service between Orlando and São Paulo – Guarulhos with four weekly flights operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. In addition, passengers can connect to the 12 destinations Delta flies to in Orlando.

  • Bogota – Orlando Flight LA 4406 BOG 10:15 – MCO 15:33 daily flights.
  • Orlando – Bogota Flight LA 4407 MCO 16:57 – BOG 20:10 daily flights.

Flights will be operated in Airbus A320ceo aircraft with 174 seats between Premium Economy and Economy. Promotional fares are available from USD 337 round trip.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Colombia’s Civil Aeronautics, in 2022, 222,859 passengers were carried between Bogota and Orlando with an occupancy factor of 84.5% and 49.3 tons of cargo in 1,425 operations. LATAM currently competes in this market with Avianca and Spirit Airlines.

New Routes:

  • Medellín – Miami: daily flights on A320 (starts October 29).
  • Cartagena – Atlanta: three flights a week on Boeing 737-800 (starts December 22).

Operation increase:

  • Atlanta – Bogota: increases to two daily flights on Boeing 767-300ER and 757-200 (begins Oct. 29).

Operational routes:

  • Bogota – Miami: two daily flights on Airbus A320 and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
  • Bogota – Orlando: daily flights on Airbus A320.
  • Bogota – New York JFK: daily flights on Boeing 767-300ER.
