LATAM’s new Airbus A321neo has been spotted

Less than a month after LATAM Airlines’ first Airbus A321neo aircraft was presented, already painted, at the European manufacturer’s plant in Hamburg, Germany, a second example of the model is following in the same footsteps. This is evidenced by a photo taken outside the German airport by Tobias Gudat, who shared the image on his Twitter account.

The second LATAM A321neo aircraft has the serial number (msn) 11524 and is expected to carry the registration PS-LBA. The one that had been spotted earlier would be the one with serial number (msn) 11531 and future registration PS-LBB.

As informed by AEROIN, LATAM Group advances in the renewal of its fleet and starts 2023 with 16 Airbus A320neo aircraft in operation in all countries where it has businesses. The growth reflects the total investment in more than 100 more efficient and sustainable A320neo, A321neo and A321XLR aircraft by the end of this decade.

In this year, the airline’s entire South American operation is expected to take delivery of 15 Airbus aircraft, including the arrival of its first A321neo, which will be operated by LATAM Brazil. The Airbus A321XLRs will begin to be delivered to LATAM Group from 2025.
