Aer Lingus expands its transatlantic network with new services to Denver and Minneapolis

Aer Lingus is expanding its transatlantic network with the launch of a new non-stop connection to Denver and the resumption of the route to Minneapolis, both operated from Dublin as part of its schedule for the 2024 summer season.

The new services will bring the total number of routes operated by Aer Lingus between Ireland and North America to 18. This strategic expansion enhances its Dublin hub, as well as being a gateway between Ireland and North America, but also providing customers with seamless connections to its European network.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through the Irish Central Statistics Office (CSO), 55,184 passengers were mobilized between Dublin and Minneapolis in the period July 2019 to March 2020. Aer Lingus’ new service to Colorado will bring to six the number of European destinations that will be available from Denver International Airport (DEN) by summer 2024.

Aer Lingus flight schedule to Denver

Starts May 17, 2024.

  • Dublin – Denver Flight EI 59 DUB 16:15 – DEN 19:00 Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The new services will be operated on Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a capacity of 266 seats in two classes (23 Business Class/243 Economy) and customers will have convenient connections to more than 20 European destinations. In addition, the airline plans in October 2024 to increase the connection to Minneapolis to daily flights operated on new Airbus A321XLRs that will enter the Aer Lingus fleet next year.

Aer Lingus’ North American network offers service to Boston, Chicago O’Hare, Cleveland, Hartford, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, Newark, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle – Tacoma, Washington – Dulles, Toronto – Pearson and soon Minneapolis and Denver.

Denver and Minneapolis-St Paul are important U.S. business destinations and Aer Lingus’ new routes facilitate corporate links and connectivity between Europe and North America through our Dublin Hub. Denver’s position as the “Gateway to the Rockies” and its appeal for outdoor activities, from world-class skiing to hiking, opens up a whole new American experience for leisure travelers from Ireland and Europe,” said Lynne Embleton, Aer Lingus Chief Executive.
