Delta Air Lines opens new Sky Club in Boston Logan Airport

Delta Air Lines has opened its new lounge at Logan International Airport in Boston. The new Sky Club has nearly 21,000 square feet and a capacity of more than 400 customers, and will operate in International Concourse E, adjacent to the two Clubs in Concourse A. The lounge’s design is inspired by Boston’s nautical history.

The Club is shaped like the curvature of a classic sailboat; its elongated profile and washed oak complements the architecture of the facility and is divided by wood and metal arches that transform the expansive square footage into intimate and inviting spaces. The VIP lounge features a color palette with touches of navy blue, teal and terra cotta that draws inspiration from the distinctive brick of the Boston skyline.

One of the most striking elements of the Club is the bar, which features a champagne-toned mesh ceiling and a backlit beverage display. Premium snacks and beverages will be available to VIP lounge patrons. The BOS – E Club will serve specialties from the New England and Boston region.

For customers to work, socialize or simply enjoy the view, the lounge is equipped with a variety of seating options, including six soundproofed phone booths. The club’s restrooms are optimized for guest comfort and privacy and include a family room and five showers (two of which are ADA compliant). In addition, the space was designed with sustainability in mind: the club is LEED-Silver certified.

«From the moment our clients enter the lounge, we want them to feel transported, not only by the design, but also by the attentiveness and hospitality of our ambassadors,» said Claude Roussel, CEO of Delta Sky Club.

Starting August 15, the E Concourse Club will be open to customers from 1:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. (the lounge closes at 10:15 p.m. on Wednesdays).
