Qatar Airways is expanding its operations to New York (JFK) from two to three daily flights. Providing new connections between John F. Kennedy Airport and more than 80 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia, the new service has an early morning departure and an evening arrival from the Big Apple.
Customers throughout the United States can take advantage of the codeshare partnership between JetBlue and Qatar Airways via New York. This allows guests to have convenient connections from Detroit, Raleigh-Durham, Orlando or Tampa, to Doha, Kathmandu, Bangkok or Johannesburg. Members of both frequent flyer programs – Qatar Airways Privilege Club and JetBlue TrueBlue – can earn miles on each other’s codeshare flights.
Qatar Airways‘ strategic partnership with American Airlines also continues to expand with the scheduling of new nonstop American service from its main transatlantic hub in Philadelphia to Doha, beginning October 28, 2023. This new route will give customers access to more than 90 cities in North America, the Caribbean and Central America, and more than 80 destinations in Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia.
Customers on the U.S. West Coast will also benefit from enhanced connectivity thanks to the expanded codeshare partnership provided by Alaska Airlines and Qatar Airways. In the coming weeks, customers will be able to book flights to more destinations out of Doha on the Alaska Airlines website.

Qatar Airways’ network of destinations in the U.S. has connecting services to Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL), San Francisco (SFO), Seattle (SEA) and Washington DC (IAD).

All services will be operated on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with a capacity of 354 passengers in two classes (42 Business Class/312 Economy).
