United adds 127 flights for the college football season

United, to meet the demand of college football fans, has added 127 new nonstop flights to its schedule for all 30 games this season.

In 2022, more than 50,000 fans flew United to several iconic college football cities across the United States. This year, the airline will continue to help fans get to games to support teams like Wisconsin, USC, the University of Michigan, Penn State and others.

We are committed to providing the best travel experience for our customers, whether they are traveling around the world or flying to see their favorite college football team play,” said Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances. “We are thrilled to offer a schedule this season that makes it easy for fans to come together and support their teams on the road.

In addition to the airline’s special programming, United has teamed up with USC Trojans quarterback and 2023 Heisman Award winner Caleb Williams for a name, image and likeness agreement to encourage college football fans in United’s advertising and social media. Throughout the season, several ads and posts will appear on the airline’s social media networks.

There’s nothing like the energy you feel seeing the fans in the stands and hearing them cheer you on during a big rivalry game, whether it’s at home or on the road,” said Caleb Williams, quarterback for the USC Trojans. “I’m thrilled to partner with United Airlines to help spread the word about these special college football flights so fans across the country can experience that energy firsthand.”
