Next September 15, the Dominican airline Arajet will celebrate its first anniversary, and it has launched a campaign alongside Boeing to sell tickets at only 7.37 dollars (excluding taxes and fees), thereby associating the fare with its fleet of 737 MAX 8 planes (in the case of Brazil starting from USD 73.7).
The promotion will be valid until the 30th of September, and will apply to travels between the 1st of October 2023 and the 30th of June 2024, except for the holiday period between the 14th of December 2023 and the 15th of January 2024.
On the day following the launch, Arajet’s founder and CEO, Victor M. Pacheco Mendez, reported that on the 7th of September they sold eleven thousand tickets, a record number in the airline’s first year of operation, for which he thanked the Dominican Republic and Latin America for their preference.
The executive also detailed that Sao Paulo was the best-selling destination, followed by Mexico City and Buenos Aires.
