Condor is returning to Florida for the summer season 2024 with a new nonstop service between Frankfurt and Miami that will run three times per week. The carrier ceased operations in the Sunshine State in the winter of 2012, at which time the leisure airline had a route to Fort Lauderdale.
Currently, the Germany-Florida market is heavily dominated by Lufthansa Group which offers 28 weekly flights in this segment and from its hubs in Frankfurt and Munich have flights to Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers. On the other hand, Norse Atlantic will start a service between Berlin and Miami this winter season, offering travelers a low cost alternative. Condor’s new service will give leisure travelers more options for their Florida vacation.
Flight schedule between Frankfurt and Miami
Starts May 18, 2024.
- Frankfurt – Miami Flight DE 2044 YYC 15:55 – FRA 09:20 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Miami – Frankfurt Flight DE 2045 FRA 12:10 – YYC 13:55+1 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The route will be operated on Airbus A330-900neo aircraft with a capacity of 310 passengers in three classes (30 Business Class/64 Premium Economy/216 Economy) and promotional fares are available from $900 round trip. Condor in the United States has interline agreements with Alaska Airlines, JetBlue and Sun Country Airlines.
Back to Calgary
Condor will resume flights to Alberta’s capital city after its last service in the summer season 2019. This service will complement the airline’s Vancouver and Edmonton operations in Western Canada.
The leisure airline will compete in the will compete in the will compete with transatlantic partnership Air Canada and Lufthansa Group, which currently operate on the Calgary-Frankfurt segment.

- Frankfurt – Calgary Flight DE 2440 FRA 12:10 – YYC 13:55 Monday and Thursday.
- Calgary – Frankfurt Flight DE 2441 YYC 15:55 – FRA 09:20+1 Monday and Thursday.
The route will be operated on Airbus A330-900neo aircraft and promotional fares are available from $700 round trip. Condor in Canada has interline agreements with Air North and WestJet.
«In the summer of 2024, for example, we will offer additional destinations, as well as more connections to the most popular destinations in North America. New to the schedule is Miami in Florida, and Calgary in Canada returns to the route network as an ideal departure point for round trips,» said Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor.
In addition to the addition of Miami and Calgary to the summer 2024 schedule, Condor will increase service to Boston to six weekly flights and Halifax to four times per week.
