Spirit Airlines Increases Services between Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Aruba (AUA) to meet the travel demand to the southern Caribbean island, going from two flights per week until August to one daily starting in October.
On September 6th, Spirit had already increased its flights between Ft. Lauderdale and Aruba from two to four per week. The service is operated on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Starting October 4th, the airline will have a daily flight to Aruba, increasing not only the number of flights but also the offer of seats, deploying its Airbus A321 with the capacity for 228 passengers in two classes. With this expansion, Spirit will offer 1,140 additional seats per week between FLL and AUA.

American Airlines also Expands
For its part, American Airlines also increased its connections between Florida and Aruba. The American airline went from having one daily flight to two.
The flights depart from Miami International Airport (MIA) at 10:24 local time, operated with Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX aircraft, and at 12:35, operated with Airbus A321 airplanes.
