Aeromexico will increase its operations to Europe for the 2024 summer season. The Mexican airline is scheduling six additional weekly flights to Madrid and three weekly flights to Paris from Mexico City, allowing it to meet strong summer high demand and connectivity for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This schedule presents an 18% increase in the offer between Mexico and Europe, surpassing the airline’s previous record, achieved during the 2023 summer season. Aeromexico will be operating 65 weekly flights to Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Paris and Rome.
The airline will have a total of 20 weekly flights between Madrid and Mexico City, as well as daily flights from Guadalajara and Monterrey to the Spanish capital. In total, Aeromexico will offer 34 weekly flights to Madrid, an increase of 22% when compared to summer 2023.
Spain is Mexico’s largest European market: according to data obtained through the Federal Civil Aviation Agency, 1,186,397 passengers with a load factor of 80.2% were mobilized between Spain and Mexico in the January-August 2023 period. Aeromexico is the second largest operator with a 31.5% market share.
The Mexico City – Paris route will have 10 weekly flights, the additional services will represent an increase of 34%. The European schedule is complemented by daily flights to Amsterdam, London and Rome.
