The military transport will cover the Tel Aviv- Rome leg, where passengers will board the Airbus A330 of Aerolíneas Argentinas that will complete the return operation connecting the Italian capital with the Ezeiza airport.
The air bridge between the conflict area and the European country will be carried out with military resources and crew, while the transatlantic operation will be completed with the regular flights of the flag carrier and at least one special flight. As we advanced, an Airbus A330-200 belonging to the long-distance fleet of Aerolíneas Argentinas, the LV-GHQ, will depart this afternoon towards Fiumicino.
So far, more than 1200 Argentines have registered in the Safe Return program, which aims to withdraw nationals from the conflict area.
