Kenya Airways and airBaltic have announced an interline agreement that will strengthen connectivity and provide customers with more travel options between Africa and the Baltic countries.
airBaltic in recent years has experienced significant growth in its operations both in the Baltics and internationally and now connects the Baltic region to more than 70 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus.
Under the interline agreement, Kenya Airways will expand its route network via Amsterdam, Paris and Dubai. The agreement also offers airBaltic passengers to book a direct ticket to Nairobi and connect to Kenya Airways destinations across Africa, including Uganda, Tanzania, Seychelles, Mauritius and South Africa, among other cities in the region.

airBaltic has its main hub in Riga (Latvia) and is complemented by secondary hubs in Tallinn (Estonia), Vilnius (Lithuania), Tampere (Finland) and Gran Canaria (Spain). In addition, its fleet consists of 44 Airbus A220-300s, this aircraft has enabled the Baltic airline to expand its network significantly and consolidate its international operations.

In addition to enhancing ties between Kenya and Latvia, Kenya Airways and airBaltic expect their collaboration to redefine the traveler experience and offer new opportunities and amenities to passengers.
