Aer Lingus has expanded its code-sharing agreement with American Airlines to offer its passengers more travel options on European transatlantic routes. This announcement strengthens the Atlantic Joint Business (AJB) partnership of Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, and Finnair.
The agreement between both companies began last year, allowing Aer Lingus customers to book flights from Dublin to Charlotte and Dallas/Fort Worth through the company’s regular channels.
Customers flying with Aer Lingus will be able to access more destinations in the United States with connecting code-share flights with American Airlines to Albuquerque, New Mexico (ABQ), Nashville, Tennessee (BNA), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Las Vegas (LAS), Kansas City (MCI), Portland, Oregon (PDX), San Jose, California (SJC), Tampa, Florida (TPA), and Tucson, Arizona (TUS).
Aer Lingus joined the Atlantic Joint Business in 2010. The integrated agreement has provided significant benefits to millions of passengers, such as more affordable fares and access to more destinations with coordinated schedules and more convenient frequencies.
