Iberia for the summer season of 2024 will have a schedule of 126 weekly flights to eight destinations in the United States. In total, the airline will offer more than 38,000 seats per week between the US and Spain.

From its main hub at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport it will have two daily flights to Miami and New York. Services to Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago O’Hare will fly daily. In addition, routes to San Francisco and Washington-Dulles will restart next summer, the Bay Area will have three flights a week and the US capital will operate four times a week.

Iberia will expand operations to Los Angeles in June, July, August and September next year. Frequency increases from five to seven flights a week. The airline will increase capacity on this route by more than 20% with the introduction of the 348-seat Airbus A350-900 (31 Business/34 Premium Economy/293 Economy). In total, the airline will offer more than 4,800 seats per week to Los Angeles.

Los Angeles and one of the frequencies to New York will be operated exclusively on Airbus A350-900s and the remaining US routes will be operated on Airbus A330-200 or A333-300 aircraft.

To complement this, sister airline LEVEL will start non-stop flights between Barcelona and Miami on a three-times-weekly schedule (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) operated on Airbus A330-200s from the end of March. This new service complements the routes from the Catalan capital to Boston, San Francisco, New York JFK and Los Angeles.

Iberia is part of the oneworld alliance and is associated with American Airlines. The expansion of its routes to the United States offers Iberia customers more options to fly to the US and Europe through American’s hubs at Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Miami, Dallas/Worth and New York JFK.
