The Embraer E190-E2 and E195-E2 have obtained type certification from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). These models will be operated by the low-cost airline Scoot, which has placed an order for nine aircraft.
The E190-E2 and E195-E2 were certified by three key civil aviation authorities: the FAA (United States), EASA (Europe), and ANAC (Brazil) in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

In addition, Embraer and CAE announced the establishment of a state-of-the-art E2 full-flight simulator in Singapore and a pilot training program, set to commence later this year. The full-flight simulator is located at the Singapore-CAE Flight Training Center, situated in the SIA Training Center.
