Summer 2024: easyJet adds 28 new routes in Europe and boosts its Spanish offering

easyJet has moved up its schedule for the 2024 summer season in the Northern Hemisphere: the company will add 28 new routes across Europe, with 16 of them serving Spain, focusing on cities like Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga, and Reus.

Last May, the airline disclosed its plans to establish its fourth seasonal operational base in Spain at the Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández International Airport (ALC), starting from the spring of 2024. At that time, the intended destinations had not been detailed.

easyJet will base three Airbus A320s with a capacity for 186 passengers each in Alicante from March 31 to October 26, 2024. Additionally, the airline will add nine direct connections, reaching a record high of 22 routes to five European countries.

On the other hand, Málaga will have three new routes, while Reus, Barcelona, and Madrid will add two and one, respectively.
