In late November, Aerolíneas Argentinas unveiled its summer schedule for 2023/24, and among the announcements was a significant increase in flights on several regional routes. In particular, the airline is introducing two daily flights to Lima (LIM), Peru, and Bogota (BOG), Colombia.
According to the announcement, the state-owned airline will increase its weekly flights to both destinations from 7 to 10, in line with current competition and growing demand in the regional market.
The new frequency aims to strengthen its alliance with Grupo Abra, which includes Avianca and GOL, and eventually SKY Airline. It should be noted that Aerolíneas Argentinas has an interline agreement with Avianca, which allows connections to other destinations served by the Colombian airline.
In addition, the increase in frequencies provides greater flexibility to Aeroparque’s connection hub for the domestic market.

Aerolíneas Argentinas operates in Lima with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with capacity for 170 passengers, which will translate into an offer of 3,400 seats per week. In turn, the company must compete with three airlines:

- LATAM with 7 weekly flights on Airbus A320ceo/neo.
- From Ezeiza:
- JetSMART with 7 weekly flights on Airbus A320ceo.
- LATAM with 20 weekly flights in Airbus A319/A320ceo.
- SKY Peru with 4 weekly flights in Airbus A320/A321neo aircraft.
According to ANAC Argentina, between January and November 2023, 578,638 passengers were mobilized on this route, with an average occupancy rate of 85%.

Aerolíneas Argentinas operates Boeing 737-700 aircraft to Bogota, with capacity for 128 passengers, which will represent an offer of 2,560 seats per week. On this route it competes with two airlines:
- From Ezeiza:
- Avianca with 14 weekly flights in Airbus A320neo and Boeing 787-8.
- GOL with 4 weekly flights on Boeing 737 MAX 8, increasing to daily in June 2024.
During the period from January to November 2023, the Buenos Aires – Bogota route carried 366.868 passengers, with an average occupancy rate of 90%.
