GOL incorporates a new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft

Another new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft for the GOL Linhas Aéreas fleet took off from the United States for Brazil on Thursday afternoon, December 21.

As AEROIN reported last week, the airline had already requested the necessary authorizations to import two new aircraft, and now one of them is arriving.

The 737 MAX-8 jet, registration PS-GPO, departed Boeing Field Airport in Seattle at 15:51 local time on flight G3 9678, bound for Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for an intermediate refueling stop.

The flight will continue on to Tancredo Neves International Airport in Belo Horizonte, in Confins (MG), where GOL Linhas Aéreas’ large Maintenance Center is located and where nationalization procedures will be carried out prior to its entry into operation.
