Japan Airlines begins marketing its flights to Doha

After more than 30 years, Japan Airlines is once again becoming the only Japanese carrier to fly to the Middle East with a non-stop service from Haneda International Airport to Hamad International Airport. For the 2024 summer season, the carrier will have 2,842 seats per week on this new route and will be complemented by Qatar Airways’ daily flights.

The route begins on 31 March 2024 and will operate daily on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with 203 seats (52 Business Class/35 Premium Economy/116 Economy). Flight JL059 will depart Tokyo at 22:50 landing in Doha, returning as JL060 at 07:15 landing in the Japanese capital at 23:55. All in local time.

Japan Airlines will be the tenth Oneworld carrier to offer services at Hamad International Airport, the service will have connections to the Middle East, Africa and South America through its partnership with Qatar Airways. With this new route, the Japanese airline’s intercontinental offering offers flights to New York JFK, Chicago O’Hare, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Honolulu, London-Heathrow, Paris CDG, Helsinki and Sydney.
