In the case of the United States, Los Angeles (LAX), Boston (BOS), and New York (JFK) will have daily flights during the peak months of the summer season, from June to September. This translates to a 65% increase in seats offered on the route to the capital of Massachusetts and a 57% increase on the Los Angeles route compared to the same period in 2023.

Additionally, LEVEL will resume its seasonal route to San Francisco (SFO) from March 31 with four weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday). It will also inaugurate its new destination to Miami (MIA), starting on March 31 with three weekly flights (Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday), increasing to four weekly flights (adding Saturdays) from June to September.

    Increase in Latin America

In South America, for the upcoming summer season, the airline will maintain year-round operations to Santiago (SCL), Chile, with three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).

In Buenos Aires, LEVEL will operate five weekly flights in the low season (April to May), increasing to six flights from June to September. Buenos Aires is currently LEVEL’s most demanded destination, with nine weekly flights in December 2023 and March 2024.

    Additional Airbus A330 Aircraft

The expansion of operations is facilitated by the addition of a sixth Airbus A330-200 to its fleet, further strengthening the connection between Barcelona and the American continent.

With this announcement, the airline will have 38 weekly flights during the peak summer season, providing more than 23 thousand seats per week.

The sixth aircraft is part of the recently announced fleet growth plan, which aims to reach up to eight units by 2026.

According to Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial Officer of LEVEL, «the solid and sustained growth of our offering, the expansion of the fleet, and initiating the process to obtain our own air operator certification are key to consolidating LEVEL’s position as the leading long-haul airline at El Prat Airport and thus continue to enhance Barcelona’s capabilities as a hub for connections between America and Europe.»
