Turkish Airlines lands for the first time in Australia with a service between Istanbul and Melbourne with a stopover in Singapore. With this new addition, the airline will operate 346 destinations in 130 countries.
The three-weekly service to Melbourne will contribute to Tourism and Trade volumes between Turkey and Australia by mobilizing thousands of visitors on the Istanbul – Melbourne route each year. In addition, Turkish Airlines will be the only European airline offering flights to Melbourne.
«We have an important global value that distinguishes us from our competitors, as we are the airline that flies to the most countries in the world. Maintaining this valuable mission is a very strong motivation that drives us to work harder, with more dedication and enthusiasm,» said Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines.
