Air Canada is expanding its offerings in Japan with new seasonal nonstop service between Toronto and Osaka. This is the Canadian airline’s second route at Kansai Airport, complementing its operations in Vancouver.
The flight begins on June 18 and ends on October 26, 2024, and will feature three weekly flights. Osaka is Air Canada’s third Japanese destination in Toronto, after Narita and Haneda,
For the 2024 summer season, Kansai Airport will have four connections to North America, two to the United States (Los Angeles and San Francisco) and two to Canada (Toronto and Vancouver).
Flight schedule between Toronto and Osaka
- Toronto – Osaka Flight AC 59 YYZ 14:00 – KIX 17:35+1 Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Osaka – Toronto Flight AC 60 KIX 19:05 – YYZ 19:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Flights will be operated on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 255 passengers (20 Business Class/21 Premium Economy/214 Economy).

- Tokyo Haneda – Toronto: daily flights on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
- Osaka – Vancouver: six weekly flights on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
- Osaka – Toronto: three weekly flights on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
- Tokyo Narita – Montreal: daily flights on Boeing 777-300ER with 400 seats.
- Tokyo Narita – Vancouver: daily flights on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
- Tokyo Narita – Toronto: daily flights on Boeing 777-300ER with 400 seats.
For the peak summer season, Air Canada will offer 24.650 seats per week to and from Japan,
