Fly Allways inaugurated its regular flights between Paramaribo and Caracas on Friday, March 8, thus establishing the only air connection from Suriname to Venezuela.
The first operation was carried out with the Fokker F70 registration PZ-TFC, which took off from Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport at 11:33 AM to touch Venezuelan soil at 12:45 PM.
Fly Allways will fly once a week between Paramaribo and Caracas, departing from the Surinamese capital on Fridays at 11:00 AM, and returning from Maiquetía Airport at 1:15 PM.
Round-trip fares start at USD 799 including taxes and fees, in addition to one cabin baggage and one checked baggage.
In addition to the Fokker F70 PZ-TFC, the airline has two other F70s (PZ-TFA and PZ-TFB), which are stored. This is complemented by an A320 in wet lease through Galistair.
With this fleet, it covers a rather succinct network that connects Paramaribo with Havana, Caracas, Camagüey, and Santiago de Cuba, as well as Georgetown with Havana, in all cases with a weekly flight.
