LEVEL has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with the Institute of Tourism of Spain (Turespaña) to boost commercial flights connecting Spain and the United States.
The agreement between Turespaña and LEVEL aims to conduct marketing activities to promote flights to the USA. The signing of this partnership coincides with the announcement of the new route that the airline, belonging to the IAG group, will operate between Barcelona and Miami.
The primary objective of LEVEL is to establish Barcelona’s El Prat International Airport (BCN) as its main transatlantic flight hub. Recently, the airline has announced an increase in seat availability for the upcoming summer season 2024 on its routes in the Americas.
Marketing activities
The activities outlined in this agreement include the creation of joint marketing campaigns in payment media, focusing on the digital realm. However, traditional methods will also be considered when their effectiveness is appropriately justified and quantifiable results are possible.
In addition to payment media campaigns, both parties can propose actions through their channels or support marketing efforts to complement the primary campaigns.
The partnership between LEVEL and Turespaña will initially last one year and will have a budget of €500,000 allocated to execute the agreed-upon actions. Both parties will share and assume this budget.
