For this summer season, TAP Air Portugal is boosting its offer to the company’s main markets, such as Brazil and North America.
In Brazil, six weekly flights will be added to Recife, for a total of 13 flights per week. For Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro, there will be two weekly flights, for a total of 12 weekly flights, respectively. TAP also adds a weekly frequency to its operation between Lisbon and Belém, Brasília, Natal/Maceió, Porto Alegre, Salvador and São Paulo.
By summer 2024, the airline will have a schedule of 96 weekly flights between Portugal and Brazil, 16 more than the 80 weekly flights operated last summer.
For Canada, four additional weekly flights to Toronto will be added compared to last year’s summer, bringing the total to 14 weekly flights. The offer also increases with the number of flights between Lisbon and Montreal from five to six weekly flights.
In the United States, Washington-Dulles will have a schedule of two daily flights, four additional weekly flights compared to the summer of 2023. The offer also increases from five to six weekly flights between Lisbon and San Francisco. In total, this summer season TAP will offer 77 weekly flights between Portugal and the United States, five more than the same period last year, and 20 weekly flights to Canada, five more than in summer 2023.
In addition, TAP will fly three times a week between Lisbon and Caracas, with one of the flights making a stopover in Funchal, which will be the only connection between South America and Madeira. The Portuguese airline also resumes seasonal services to Porto Santo, Alicante, Ibiza, Menorca, Palma de Mallorca and Naples.
