The Delta-Aeromexico cross-border partnership expands operations between the United States and Mexico, enhancing connectivity between the two nations. The carriers celebrated the start of their new nonstop service between Mexico City and Boston, marking the Mexican airline’s return to the Massachusetts capital, the Mexican carrier ceased service at Logan International Airport in January 2019.
The inaugural flight ceremony held at Logan International Airport was attended by Todd Smith, Massport’s Director of Aviation Operations; Felipe Cuellar, Deputy Consul of Mexico in Boston; John Angel, Delta’s General Manager of Airport Operations; and Jose Zapata, Aeromexico’s Vice President of Sales for North and Latin America.
As the Delta-Aeromexico partnership continues to expand operations, it furthers the commitment to provide a seamless travel experience and enhance the connection between the United States and Mexico, the second largest U.S. trading partner.
Flight Schedule
- Mexico City – Boston Flight AM 640 MEX 12:55 – BOS 20:20 daily flights.
- Boston – Mexico City Flight AM 641 BOS 22:05 – MEX 02:15+1 daily flights.
The flights will be operated in Boeing 737 MAX 8, which offers a total of 166 seats with 16 seats in Business Class, 18 in AM Plus, and 132 in Economy Class.
