WestJet boosts Western Canadian connectivity with nonstop service between Atlanta and Edmonton. This new route fuels the growth of cross-border travel from Edmonton to one of the world’s largest global hubs.
Flight WS1902 was operated on a Boeing 737. After four hours and nine minutes, the aircraft took off from Edmonton Airport at 00:47 local time and landed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 06:56.

The route is operated by Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 132 seats in total distributed in 12 Premium Economy and 120 in Economy. WestJet also offers flights to Atlanta from Calgary, Winnipeg and Vancouver.
This route will promote tourism and business development in both regions. Atlanta is the largest hub for Delta, WestJet’s partner, and this new service provides multiple connections. The United States is the most important trading partner for the province of Alberta, WestJet in partnership with Edmonton Airport has met with partners to celebrate this new service.
