United Airlines is boosting its international network with a new nonstop service between San Francisco International Airport and Monterrey, Mexico. Beginning October 27, 2024, the airline’s fifth route between Mexico and San Francisco.
The U.S. airline plans to provide 12 weekly flights year-round, increasing to two daily flights during peak periods. The service will be operated in Embraer 175 aircraft by Skywest, a partner of United Express.
United also connects Monterrey with a service from Chicago O’Hare operated by United Express with daily flights and from Houston-Intercontinental operated on its Airbus A319 and Boeing 737NG aircraft with two daily flights.
The airline’s Mexican network from San Francisco has three daily flights to Mexico City, 16 weekly flights to Cancun, two daily flights to San Jose del Cabo, and 10 weekly flights to Puerto Vallarta.
