Azores Airlines is expanding its offer of non-stop flights between Ponta Delgada (Azores) to Montreal, Faro, and Milan-Malpensa during the 2024/2025 winter season.
These three air services started in April (Montreal) and June (Milan and Faro), allowing Azores Airlines to consolidate in markets of great potential, giving customers the option to explore the Azores destination outside the high season, not limiting the connectivity of this destination by seasonality.
At the same time, these Azores Airlines connections will become a bridge for travel between Europe and North America with a stopover in the Azores. These routes boost point-to-point flight connectivity and balance the tourism market throughout the year.
From October 27, flights between Montreal and Ponta Delgada will be scheduled twice a week (Thursday and Saturday); services between Faro and Ponta Delgada will operate twice a week (Thursday and Sunday); and flights between Ponta Delgada and Milan-Malpensa will operate once a week (Monday).
Tour operators and local agents have been promoting this destination throughout the year, in partnership with several local entities and through familiarization visits to the Azores destination, which gathered travel agents, journalists, and specialists from these issuing markets.
