LATAM Airlines Peru announced the resumption of its flights to Jamaica from Lima, starting December 1, 2024. The route paused due to the pandemic in 2020, and will operate three times a week on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Travelers from Ezeiza, Córdoba, Mendoza, and Rosario (Sundays only) can connect via Lima. The company confirms with a new release the information sent by mid June that confirmed the resumption.

“The resumption of flights to Jamaica from Lima allows us to bring the Caribbean closer to South American passengers, enhancing the crucial role of the Lima hub, from where travelers can reach other destinations such as Cancun, Punta Cana, Aruba, San José, and Havana,” said Manuel van Oordt, CEO of LATAM Airlines Peru.
The route will feature three weekly flights, enabling passengers from Santiago, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Asunción, Montevideo, Córdoba, and Mendoza to connect in Lima to reach Montego Bay. The flight duration is approximately five hours and will be operated using A319 and A320 aircraft, with capacities of 138 and 174 passengers, respectively.
