Aerocardal, a provider of air ambulance, charter flights, and cargo services in Chile, announced the purchase of a L 410 NG from Aircraft Industries, a Czech manufacturer. This acquisition strengthens Aerocardal’s fleet and positions the company as a strategic sales partner in the Americas for the OMNIPOL Group, the parent company of Aircraft Industries.
The new L 410 NG, initially configured for passenger transport, is expected to arrive in Chile in the fourth quarter of 2024. The aircraft can be adapted for air ambulance missions, a significant feature considering Aerocardal’s regional operations in this market.
According to Ricardo Real, CEO of Aerocardal, «this aircraft represents advanced technology and versatility, and it aligns well with our mission to provide top-tier passenger transport services as well as air ambulance evacuations.»
The L 410 NG is an upgraded version of the earlier L 410 UVP-E20 model, offering a longer flight range, increased cargo capacity by 500 kilograms, and doubled storage volume. Additionally, it features modern avionics, such as the Garmin G300 Glass Cockpit system.
Jiří Podpěra, President of the OMNIPOL Group, highlighted the importance of the partnership: «We are proud to have Aerocardal as our strategic partner in the Americas. Their experience and market knowledge will be crucial in introducing the L 410 NG to new customers and expanding our regional presence.»
Official Sales Representative Role
As part of this partnership, Aerocardal has been designated as the official sales representative for the L 410 NG and other OMNIPOL Group products in the Americas. This role will enable the Chilean company to present the aircraft to new customers across the continent.
Real noted, «We look forward to demonstrating the unique capabilities of this aircraft and offering our customers a solution that is safe, reliable, and versatile.»
The acquisition of the L 410 NG and the partnership with OMNIPOL reflect Aerocardal’s focus on expanding its offerings and responding to the changing needs of the market in the Americas.
