Emirates is to introduce a second daily Airbus A380 flight on the Dubai-Bali route from September 1 until October 26, to meet the high demand for travel to the island during the peak season. The superjumbo replaces the current Boeing 777 operation on EK398/EK399 flights.
This aircraft change builds on Emirates’ first Airbus A380 service to Indonesia which commenced on June 1, 2023, at the same time will encourage more inbound traffic to Balin during the busiest times of the year and connect customers from Indonesia to Dubai and beyond through Emirates’ extensive global network. By offering twice daily flights on the A380, the airline provides more than 2,600 seats per week to and from Bali.
Emirates launched its daily non-stop service between Dubai and Bali in 2015 which complements its scheduled flights to Jakarta started in 1992. Emirates now operates to more than 144 destinations on six continents and currently provides two daily flights to Jakarta.
