Japan Airlines unveils a Boeing 767 with a special Disney-inspired livery

Japan Airlines has introduced a special Disney-inspired livery in a Boeing 767-300ER, christened “JAL Fantastic Journey Express”, which will commence domestic services for a limited period from the end of October- The design has elements of the new Fantasy Springs theme park that opened at Tokyo DisneySea park on June 6, 2024.

The “JAL Fantastic Journey Express” is an aircraft painted in partnership with Tokyo Disney Resort and Japan Airlines, official sponsor. This is the sixth collaboration since Japan Airlines began its partnership with Tokyo DisneySea in 2001.

Fantasy Springs is the only theme port in the world to offer three zones inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios films Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan, as well as Disney’s newest themed hotel, Tokyo DisneySea Hotel.

The aircraft’s design resembles a magical fountain leading to Disney’s Fantasyland, featuring Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Peter Pan, inspired by Fantasyland locations such as Arendelle’s Castle, Rapunzel’s Tower, the Jolly Roger, and Captain Hook’s ship.

In-Cabin Experience

Passengers traveling on the “JAL Fantastic Journey Express” will enjoy specially designed headrest covers and paper cups as they immerse themselves in the world of Fantasy Springs.
