Royal Air Maroc is expanding its transatlantic network for the winter season with a new non-stop service between Casablanca and Toronto-Pearson, the airline’s second route in Canada. The Moroccan airline’s North American network currently serves Miami, Washington-Dulles, Newark and Montreal.
Royal Air Maroc will be the third carrier to offer flights between Africa and Toronto-Pearson, complementing the services of Ethiopian Airlines from Addis Ababa and Egyptair from Cairo.
Flight schedule

The one-way flight from Casablanca to Toronto connects favorably with African arrivals. Point-to-point demand on the Casablanca-Toronto segment in 2023 was 17,000 persons and return. In comparison, point-to-point demand from Montreal-Casablanca last year was 196,000 passengers.
The new service offers convenient connections to destinations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Tunis, Milan-Malpensa and Cairo, the Moroccan airline is also offering affordable fares for travel from Africa to North America.
Lagos, Accra and Abidjan, with a combined market demand of 140,000 passengers, will be one of the main outbound markets for this new route to Toronto, along with Madrid, Barcelona and France. As immigration continues to be strong to Canada from Africa, Royal Air Maroc’s new route is expected to have high occupancy factors.
