Air Europa celebrates its fifth anniversary of having started operations at Tocumen International Airport. Since the airline began its flights to Panama in June 2019, it has mobilized more than 450,000 passengers. The good results obtained on this route predict that 2024 will become the year with the highest number of passengers mobilized to date.
The Globalia airline has a codeshare partnership with Copa Airlines, which began with the start of its operations in Panama. This alliance allows connecting clients from El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua or Costa Rica with Europe, in certain periods of the year, 40% of occupancy on the Madrid-Panama route comes from these destinations.
In 2021, Air Europa began an alliance with PROMOTUR Panama to exploit the Central American country as a tourist destination in key European markets. Renewed in 2023, this relationship has had a positive result in increasing the arrival of European travelers, as well as highlighting Panama as an important tourist destination.

The flights are operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 339 seats in two classes: 32 Business Class and 307 in Economy.
