For the first time in its history, JetBlue will have its own lounges, marking a step forward in its strategy to attract and serve the growing demand for premium passengers.
JetBlue’s first lounge will be located in Terminal 5 at New York’s JFK Airport, with an expected opening in late 2025. Shortly after, another lounge will follow at Boston’s Logan International Airport.
«Our customers have been asking for a JetBlue lounge for years,» said Marty St. George, JetBlue’s president. «Lounges have become essential for the growing number of passengers seeking premium experiences, and JetBlue’s lounges will enhance the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we expand our portfolio of associated credit cards,» he added.
Details of JetBlue’s New Lounges
The JetBlue lounge in New York will cover 8,000 square feet (743 m²) and be located in JFK’s Terminal 5, while the Boston lounge will have 11,000 square feet (1,022 m²).
The design of both lounges will feature three areas: one with a bar, focused on a more «fun» and social environment; another for work, with private spaces, more outlets, and high-speed Wi-Fi; and a third focused on relaxation, with lounge chairs and options for food and beverages.

How to Access JetBlue Lounges
The airline noted that access to its lounges will be primarily reserved for its «most loyal» customers and premium credit card users, acknowledging that «the popularity of lounges has resulted in overcrowding and long lines at those of other airlines.»
Therefore, access to JetBlue lounges will be limited to those with a new premium JetBlue credit card to be announced soon; TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members; and passengers flying in the Mint class on transatlantic flights. In the first two cases, a complimentary guest will also be allowed.
Additionally, certain customers can purchase day passes or access as guests based on space availability, while all customers can buy annual passes.
