Ryanair has unveiled its winter 2024/25 schedule from Shannon with 17 routes, including to city destinations such as Budapest, Edinburgh, Krakow, Liverpool, London, and Manchester, as well as sunnier destinations such as Alicante, Lanzarote, Malaga and Tenerife. The low-cost airline will increase flights on five routes in Lithuania, Poland, and the UK, giving Ryanair’s Midwest customers more travel options at affordable fares.

Ryanair began operations at Shannon Airport 37 years ago and has since handled more than 20 million passengers, invested €10 million in its maintenance facilities, and created more than 200 local jobs.

Ryanair’s 2024/25 winter schedule at Shannon will feature three aircraft based on the Boeing 737 MAX 8200 (Gamechanger) which reduces carbon emissions by 16% and noise by 40% compared to previous generation aircraft, representing a $300 million investment in Shannon and supporting over 1,000 local jobs, whilst boosting tourism during the winter season.

We are delighted to welcome Ryanair to the winter schedule, with 17 routes and increased frequency on five key Shannon Airport services to Tenerife, Kaunas, Krakow, London and Manchester, creating an additional capacity of almost 30,000 seats, 5% more than last winter. We are also delighted to be celebrating a significant milestone as Ryanair has carried over 20 million passengers through Shannon Airport since it began operating to Shannon in 1987. To mark this occasion, this morning we were pleased to present one lucky Ryanair passenger with a pair of tickets to a destination of their choice from Shannon with Ryanair,” said Mary Considine, Managing Director of The Shannon Airport Group.
