Delta Air Lines set to Begin Widebody Cabin Refurbishment by Upgrading its Boeing 757 Fleet

Delta Air Lines will begin updating the cabins of its aircraft, from new seats and a revamped lighting subsystem, every aspect of the interior has been meticulously planned and designed to optimize the travel experience.

Delta has a 100-year history of creating a welcoming and thoughtful customer experience, with intentional design elements woven into every aspect of the customer journey. As we embark on our next century of flying, this refreshed cabin interior combines utility with beauty to create an atmosphere that feels fresh, elevated and timeless, while reflecting the changing tastes and expectations of our customers,” said Mauricio Parise, Vice President of Customer Experience Design.

Each cabin interior will have a new design, and will feature memory foam pillows and lighting that promotes customer relaxation. The interior design has a softer, warmer and modern color palette with natural materials. Cabin idents will be present on all Delta One and Premium Select widebody aircraft.

The lavatory will also be updated with light walls and a feature wall in front of the Celestial Sky mirror. The lavatory fixtures are a fresh, modern light blue. The floor is a smooth material with colored flecks for easy cleaning and a secure grip.
