Etihad Airways is strengthening its offering on its European network from its hub in Abu Dhabi. From 1 October 2025, the Gulf carrier will increase its flights on routes to Denmark and Germany, further boosting connections between the United Arab Emirates and these European destinations.
The route to Dusseldorf will see a significant increase from its current offering. The airline is adding four additional weekly flights, raising the service to a daily operation, and the connection will be available all year round, offering more travel options during all seasons.
The service to Copenhagen will see a modification to its current schedule, increasing from four times a week to weekly flights, boosting Etihad’s presence in Scandinavia. Next year, the carrier will expand its European network with new services to Prague and Warsaw.
“This move to daily flights to Dusseldorf and Copenhagen marks an exciting chapter in our European expansion. It reflects our commitment to providing unrivalled connectivity between Abu Dhabi and major European cities. These enhanced frequencies allow us to offer our passengers greater flexibility and better connection options across our global network. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to delivering our award-winning service and hospitality on these routes, ensuring that every journey with Etihad is exceptional,” said Arik De, Chief Commercial and Revenue Officer, Etihad Airways.
