ITA Airways is expanding its intercontinental offering by operating its flights between Rome-Fiumicino and Bangkok (Thailand) during the 2025 summer season. The Italian airline will begin its services to the Thai capital on November 16, 2024.
Flights to Bangkok for the upcoming season are already on sale through ITA Airways’ regular channels. During the 2024/2025 winter season there will be five weekly flights with services from Rome departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and from Bangkok on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
For the 2025 summer season the service will be reduced from five to three weekly flights with departures from Bangkok on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from Rome on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The flights are operated on Airbus A330-900neo aircraft with a capacity of 291 seats in three classes: 30 Business Class, 21 Premium Economy and 237 in Economy. Promotional fares start from 531 euros round trip.
ITA Airways will be the second airline to offer flights between Italy and Thailand, competing with Thai Airways which has a route between Bangkok and Milan-Malpensa. The Italian airline’s Asian offering will also have services to Delhi, Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh and Tokyo-Haneda.
