Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA) completed the expansion and remodeling project of the Terminal Building of the Guadalupe Victoria International Airport in Durango, after more than two years of work and an investment of 200 million Mexican pesos. This new infrastructure will provide spacious and comfortable facilities that will serve up to 760,000 passengers per year.
The project consisted of the construction of 858 additional square meters and the modernization of another 3,000, resulting in the Terminal Building of 5,704 square meters, under strict quality and safety standards.
«At OMA, we plan the evolution of airports in an orderly manner, based on the development of passenger traffic and the provision of quality services. This project is the result of comprehensive planning that allowed us to modernize our facilities to offer a better experience to our passengers, from documentation to boarding,» said Ricardo Dueñas, General Director of OMA.
The terminal now features state-of-the-art systems and equipment that improve passenger comfort in all areas and optimize airport operations. This covers everything from check-in to boarding, ensuring fast and safe service for all users.
The Guadalupe Victoria International Airport plays an important role in the growth of the economy and tourism of the Durango region by connecting this destination with important business and tourism centers at national and international levels. OMA reaffirms its commitment to the Federal and State Governments to continue to actively participate in the promotion of Durango, supporting the development of infrastructure that fosters economic growth and air connectivity in the state. This modernization is a sign of this commitment.
